OK well if you have gotten this far and still haven't found the cause of the problem, you may need to truck the bike home and get out your wiring diagram and multimeter and find the source of the issue. Power goes from your battery straight up to the headlights and front of the bike through only a couple of connections, so with the right tools it shouldn't take you too long. Here's how to do it:
