OK so hook your bike up to some power, either a fresh battery, or jumper cable to a good battery. Put in a gallon or so of fresh gas (high octane not required, or even recommended, just use 87 octane unless your repair/owners manual states otherwise) into the gas tank. Hook up all the fuel lines, and click the petcock over to PRI (prime) or RES if your petcock doesn't have a PRI setting. Wait about 10 seconds. Pull the choke out all the way. Then turn the bike on and hit the starter button.

If your bike starts up, awesome! You are most of the way there. Don't be alarmed if it smokes a bit at first, remember you did pour some oil in each cylinder.

Tell me what happened?

The bike started and is running great
The bike started but is running poorly
The starter motor turns over but the motor doesn't catch
Nothing happened at all
