If it sputters out again, you may be having some problems with fuel delivery, especially related to the petcock. PRI lets fuel flow without the engine needing to be on. If your petcock is on ON or RES and you are still sputtering out, you may have a malfunctioning petcock. On the back of the petcock should be a small vacuum line, separate from the fuel line. Make sure it is still attached, and connected to your engine at the other end. Make sure it is not damaged or pinched. Is it still good?
